Shenandoah Housing Corporation is partnering with Citimortgage to provide down payment and closing cost assistance in connection with first mortgage loans to finance the acquisition of homes in the State of Virginia. The program is targeted towards borrowers who’s inability to qualify for home ownership is due to insufficient equity for the typical down payment and closing costs and not credit.
This Shenandoah/Citimortgage program addresses this problem by providing the equity for the down payment and closing costs in the form of a second mortgage.
