MIAMI DADE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOUNDATION, INC in its partnership with Citimortgage has been providing down payment and closing cost assistance in connection with first mortgage loans to finance the acquisition of homes in the Counties of Miami Dade, Broward and Pam Beach, Florida. Effective August 8, 2005 the program is now available STATEWIDE in Florida. The program is targeted towards borrowers who’s inability to qualify for home ownership is due to insufficient equity for the typical down payment and closing costs and not credit.

This Foundation/Citimortgage program addresses this problem by providing the equity for the down payment and closing costs in the form of a second mortgage.
